After a day at the slopes this is the perfect place for a warm and cozy coffee drink by the fire! Eclectic decor and furnishing make this a quirky spot for meeting with friends or family. There is also a little nook for live music some nights. The staff is friendly and helpful with questions - we had decisions to... More

I love a good dark roast before hitting the road and this place delivered. Looks like they have a nice drink menu for those interested in more than coffee, Free wifi and a place to play music.

Randomly walked in and instantly felt comfortable. Larry was very helpful with his suggestion and the no rush atmosphere made us stay way longer than expected.

We stopped here on our way home to Raleigh since all other coffee shops were closed. Coffee was excellent. I'm very picky about my coffee and theirs hit the spot!

My wife and I stopped in before getting started on the local site-seeing. The barista was nice and so very helpful. She talked about the different varieties of tea and offered samples before purchasing. Personally I have to say that it is a nice change where you don't feel rushed and are respected, something I feel that way too many... More

Stopped in with a 2/1 coupon. Great gal behind counter told us about the area while she made our coffees. Best coffee we had on the trip.

I recommend the "Cuban", which has coconut flavored coffee with heavy cream and turbinado sugar mixed in. Hubby loved dark roast. Barista was very kind and friendly. Will go again!

Stopped by Fred and Larrys coffee shop for a much needed start to my day. Was promptly greeted and waited on. Staff was very nice. Was a little disappointed but wasn't their fault. I really wanted a coffee drink like a mocha or a tea like chai tea but didn't have either. Teas were a selection of tea bags and... More

My friend and I were in town for the weekend and stopped in for a good cup of coffee. We met the most wonderful barista Natalie. She was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and super efficient. We enjoyed our conversation as well as the excellent coffee. Her description of banner elk made me want to pack my things in Florida and move... More

We stopped in here with our family in the morning. There was only 1 person working behind the counter so it took awhile for her to complete all the orders. We ordered a couple coffees and 2 toasted bagels. It took awhile before we got our bagels, so I would not recommend coming here if you are in a hurry.... More
