Mashed Potatoes cold. Ribs were very good. But had to ask for hot washcloth. They brought iddy bitty packets ( ie obgyn office type even smaller) to clean your hands. Everyones food just ok. Views and sunset exceptional. Service ok. Stemmed veggies were excellent. There were 7 of us. Fun evening but food just so so. Spouter is never bad...... More

It's always so nice to have an excellent meal served by a professional and friendly staff. We had chowder and salads and homemade PIE in a bright and cheery dining room right on the water. We watched shorebirds and kayakers and shrimp boats while we congratulated ourselves for being so lucky to be on vacation.

Spouter is consistently delicious! I love sitting outside on the water. I've never waited super long to eat but I usually eat at strange times. The clam chowder is to die for along with the goat cheese salad and scallops Parmesan. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and it's great for a brunch with friends or datenight!

Fantastic views. Had both a brunch and a dinner at The Spouter. By the way the bakery has wonderful pastries (huge portions). Waterfront dining and fresh seafood are a tough combination to complain about and I simply found nothing wrong and everything right.

The seafood selections are mouth watering. After three days on the road, I was fished out and opted for the special of Prime Rib while my wife chose the seafood mixed grill which was the best selection and preparation that we have experienced. The Prime Rib was equally outstanding with mashed potatoes and sautéed squash and carrots. Our best and... More

We have eaten at Spouters Inn many times. Last night, we were disappointed. Ben our waiter was great. Our service was good. Our entrée was not up to par. My wife ordered the soft shell crab. She said it was over breaded and soggy. She said it was not light and crisp as it should be. We did not complain... More

My wife and I visited here today. The service, food, and views were awesome! My wife ordered the Top Deck sandwich and I ordered their white bean chicken chili. All of it was delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. Our server was attentive and great. Also, our view was amazing. We got to watch two baby dolphins play while we... More

Then you need to go! My husband and I enjoyed an impromptu Sunday brunch there on the back deck overlooking the water. Fresh Mahi was delicious! And it wasn't too expensive. If we ever return to Beaufort, we know where we will be eating!

Visited Spouter on a Thursday. Light crowd 2 days after Valentines Day. The wife and I wanted crablegs and they were about the only folks in town that offered them. They were good along with the sticky rice and mixed vegetables. I guess the thing about crablegs is that when you eat a couple of clusters you keep craving for... More
