We had a good meal with amazing service. The outdoor seating is dog friendly. Try the buffalo chips and the sweet ginger wings!

Had good light lunch at Dark City Deli. The garden salad and the salad wedge were good. Service was good.

This place is not the best in town. The service is not so good and the place did not feel clean, especially the kitchen. Food was at or below average.

Was supposed to be a quick lunch before we headed to the galleries across the street. My salad with grilled chicken kabobs was good but huge -- no one could have finished it, resulting in food waste. My bf enjoyed his ham and cheese sandwich. For some reason, it took a long time for us to get the food, so... More

Our whole family loves this place. Thursday is wing night, if you love wings it's a must. Their burgers and chicken sandwich is awesome! I recommend "The Godfather". It's awesome!!

Love this place! Great location and ambience, and if you can sit in the patio outside its perfect for people watching. Oh and the food is great too!!!

We had lunch here at the recommendation of the guests at our inn. I would highly recommend for lunch. Very good and ample portions.

Dark City is an eclectic mountain town deli with menu option for carnivores and vegetarians. As mentioned, the dishes have funny names, like the Fun Guy portobello sandwich and the Carnomore build-your-on vegetarian sandwich. The servings are huge and their bar offers an array of beer, wine and liquor. Dark City is one of the many things that make Black... More

Followed a sign that was kind of difficult to follow but worth looking. Great bar food and a good NC cider. My spouse had pastrami and I had a chicken sandwich with pesto and sourdough bread/ both very good.

I love the sandwiches at Dark City Deli! My only problem is deciding which one to order. I love sitting on the patio - especially if there's a guitar player - with friends. Can't beat the combination of cool mountain air, delicious food, and a cold craft beer. When my kids were done at camp I purchased gift cards for... More
