We arrived there a little late but were welcomed and seated quickly. The waitress brought our menu's and was very outgoing. We order our meals, they came quickly and were all cooked to perfection and we all completely enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere was good. We tried other restaurants in town but really wished that we had returned here... More

My wife and I tried the Bistro on a Tuesday night and although the food was good the service was TERRIBLE. The place wasn't busy (especially for a Tuesday) so you would have thought the service would be top notch. Our waitress was more interested in spending time in the kitchen instead of giving us the service we deserved. I'd... More

Went here for dinner and enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. The menu has a little something for all tastes. Upscale for the area. The chicken quesadilla was one of the best I've ever had. The drink specials were creative and delicious.

Stopped by on Friday evening for dinner. Was a little surprised it was fairly quiet. I guess it is still a little early in the season for the tourist crowd. We were seated immediately next to the fireplace in the main dining room. Our server, Candace was delightful and helped us narrow down our dinner choices. Husband had the local... More

Our first visit to the Black Mountain Bistro was a great success. We were seated and offered drinks quickly. We ordered soups and salads, both tasty and fresh. I had a pork chop with blueberry BBQ sauce and my husband had meatloaf. The servings were large and we took home leftovers, along with extra gravy and BBQ sauce provided by... More

The food was mediocre. Their appetizers are the best part of the menu. Their fried pickles are the best!!

Dined here on a Saturday early evening as a couple. Only waited about 5 minutes to be seated and appreciated that the hostess took and served our drink order while the sever was occupied. We ordered between us the popular turkey and dressing entree and also the Cobb Salad. Generous portions were provided for both meals and although they weren't... More

I would like to apologize for the service you had on Saturday evening. We are typically not very busy this time of year and we staff accordingly and we were a bit shorthanded for the amount of business that we had on Saturday. I realize this is no excuse for poor service just wanted to explain what may have happened.... More

We arrived for with our dog for lunch at the bistro, after a recommendation as somewhere to go that is dog friendly. I waited outside with the pup while my husband went in to get service. The woman that came out with him to prepare our table seemed bothered that we had our dog with us and needed to be... More
