There is but one reason to eat at Canyons....the view! I truly envy the homes nearby that have the same view. Perhaps eating at one of those nearby homes would be better than eating at Canyons. Let's put it this way. This a million dollar view with $2 food. In all honesty, the view almost makes the food palatable.....almost!

Cooper was the best server. We were blessed to get a table near the window. We asked Cooper how long the restaurant had been there and he said 17 new manager. The building had been there since the 30s. Even having once been a brothel. We will be back.

The view here is spectacular. We arrived early, around 445 and hung onto our table through dinner and drinks until we caught the sunset. Burgers were very good. The beer list is ok but not overwhelming. They had Bell's Two Hearted Ale which is always good even if not local. A very nice spot for food and drinks in Blowing... More

My family comes here about every time we visit Blowing Rock. We had Sunday brunch today. They had a jazz group. It opens at 11 and we arrived by 11:10 and all the seats by the window were already taken. Get there early. We will be back.

If it weren't for the view of the canyon I would have rated it a 1star. The service was horrible. Slow and not very knowledgeable on the menu. The food was horrible. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla. It consisted of shrimp and melted cheddar jack cheese. Yep that's it. There were some chips on the plate. Why not sautée some... More

Had dinner here and enjoyed the experience. The view is the key thing about this place as the food is average. But the view and the ensuing sunset tended to make up for that somewhat. Dinner was not over priced and the quality was decent. The service was okay. The bar area tended to be noisy, but then most bar... More

what a view. one whole wall of the restaurant is windows so you can look out at grandfather mountain. the place seems filled with alot of locals and they have a good mix of major and local breweries. food was surprisingly good, and is more of a place to get a drink and look out the window casually.

Shrimp and spinach artichoke dip were great! Pretty good wine and beer selection. Gorgeous views and good prices. Service was slow.
