My buddy and I took a ride on our motorcycles last week, From Conway and decided to head north.. Rode up to Southport, Got on the ferry over to Fort Fisher, Got hungry and decided to pull into Bowmans. Never been here before. Just as good or better than anything I have had in Calabash. Food was very good and... More

I am not a seafood person, but my parents love fried seafood--if that's what you like, this is your place! Very reasonably priced too. Great sweet tea and hush puppies! Hamburger steak was enormous.

I visited Bowman's on April 30th. I was craving typical Southern fried seafood, and Bowman's delivered! This was my first visit but it won't be the last! The decor is simple, small in size, and clean. The food is typical fried seafood with French fries, cole slaw and hush puppies. I ordered a shrimp and oysters combo which cost around... More

The atmosphere is classic seafood restaurant decor, and the fare is classic Southern seafood. They had no trouble seating and serving our group of five quickly and cheerfully.

I was down at Ft. Fisher for a training event and one of my colleagues wanted to get some seafood since we were at the beach. I had been to Bowmans before so I knew what to expect. The service was quick and prompt and the food was excellent. I ordered fried shrimp and scallops and baked potato. Everything was... More

Normally my husband and I travel o Carolina beach 2 or 3 times a year and I never noticed Bowman's. The seafood was hot and very fresh, I would definitely recommend to all my fiends.

If you are looking for Calabash style seafood on Carolina Beach, you will enjoy a meal here! Everything from the hush puppies, to fries along with all the fried shrimp, oysters, flounder and deviled crab was fixed to true calabash style deliciousness.

This restaurant was recommended to us from a local. The flouder and shrimp tasted like it was from a frozen box. Didn't taste fresh at all. Service was good. Expensive for the quality of the food. The salad was good and the baked potatoes were large. Will not be going back for seafood.

Ate year a few years ago. I had a oyster sandwich with slaw and some hushpuppy before the sandwich came out. The waitress was very friendly and gave me some water before the order. I sat at the bar and watch TV and talked to the ladies behind the counter. The meal was so good, oyster was cooked lightly. Just... More
