Pretty disappointed. Years ago I had sworn off of " by the pound" food. Wish I had stuck with that vow. The food is OK but by the time you get a bit of this and a bit of that it is astounding how quickly it adds up. We could have had two great sandwiches and sides in a restaurant... More

Great place to stay. Reflects the special life style of Carrboro. However, the food and goods are a little bit expensive.

Nice selection of groceries and excellent beverages of the alcoholic variety. :) This is a fun place to explore for everyday needs or for a picnic meal.

This has been a go-to food place for our family for years, and will be for years to come. Delicious, nutritious, hot food waiting for you... and always friends sitting around to join you! What more could you ask for? And the Peppermint Mocha (made with essence of peppermint, not a syrup) is the best I've ever had.

Our friends in Chapel Hill took us here for breakfast when we were visiting. Can't say anything about the actual food market which looked decent. I can only comment on the breakfast which was okay. Nothing to write home about. Basically a solid neighborhood breakfast place to frequent when you take your dog for his morning walk. A bar of... More

Nice co-op food selections and hot food bar. Beware of the locally sourced milk though. I had a hankerin' for chocolate milk and grabbed a local dairy brand. When I got back to my hotel room and took my first sip, the milk was almost carbonated - horribly spoiled. Food bar is great, quick and healthy alternative. The best part... More

Went there Sunday mornings Sunday morning for brunch. Great GF options from JP's. Doggies welcome at outside tables and great musical entertainment. Advice would be get there early if you want a table. Folks tend to get one then stay all morning to socialize.
