If you are looking for food probably should be a second thought. Local sausages should have been good but if you don't cook them properly then ......

Got the Mill house salad with chicken which was awesome, a terrific mix of greens and other ingredients. I also ordered a side of fries since that's what they are famous for and they were amazing, so good I didn't need ketchup or the sauce that came with it. I don't go to Carrboro often, but I'll make it a... More

I had fairly good moules frites on a very busy UNC/Duke basketball game night. I am not a beer drinker, but this place has a huge selection of lambics and other Belgian beers. Friendly and quick service

Middle of week visit for dinner brought us to Milltown before a ball game. Great hot spot for an excellent Milltown Burger....fresh meat, fresh toppings, and a side of thinly sliced fries were prepared well. Quick service. Amazed at how busy the place was on Tuesday night, but there seems to be good reason. Cubano sandwich was good as well.... More

Their beer menu is amazing! The menu is a nice variety of items you would want to have with great beer. We used to go a lot when they had the classic Belgian mussels permanently on the menu. They now vary it up. The original was so good especially with their delicious aioli. Definitely worth a try!

It's a great place to hang out with pals for a brew after work/class. It has more of a college bar feel, so it can be boisterous at times. Great beer selection and food.

We dropped into the place to celebrate Oktoberfest. They had a large "ompapa" playing fun German tunes, and some singing. The menu was focused on the festive time, with a good variety of German staples available. We tried the various wurst rolls, on a pretzel roll, with sauerkraut and mustard. Excellent! The sides were so-so. My potato salad was not... More

Milltown combines a dark interior bar and dining area with an open al fresco section. Each has a different vibe. Excellent beer selection. Dependable bar food with a few surprises like poutine.

The menu is filled with inventive dishes of strange mixes of ingredients that seem to work. The orecchiette was a delicious combination of pasta, artichokes, oyster mushrooms, asparagus, and tomatoes. The grilled peach salad was very odd with blue cheese and cottage cheese (but my friend liked it). The gnocchi tots appetizer was tasty. The service was a bit slow... More

Stopped in for lunch because we had a groupon. No problems there. I had the schnitzel sandwich, which was very good and my wife had the Quebec poutine which was also very good(fresh cheese curds from Wisconsin). My sandwich came with a side salad which was nice, with craisins and sunflower seeds, etc. but I took a couple bites and... More
