We popped into Taipei 101 because we often go by there on our way to a pub and it smells pretty good. I ordered the beef ho fun and it was very very middling to less than that very greasy and not that tasty with noodles that looked suspiciously like spaghetti noodles. My son had the beef noodle soup which... More

Nice selection of well prepared food. Restaurant looks in-impressive from outside, but looks is nice and comfortable inside.

This place always has a welcoming and friendly attitude as though the staff here is genuinely happy to see you. Today we had the very good hot and sour soup (not on the menu). We ordered the spicy eggplant in garlic sauce and asked them to put some tofu in it. We also asked for no msg and no sugar.... More

Do not be misled by the name, this is definitely not a Taiwanese Restaurant. Food served are more like mainland Chinese food rather than Taiwanese. However, they do provide some unique dishes that you cannot get in any other Chinese restaurant in Cary.

3 of us went for dinner at Taipei 101 on Sunday. Dinner is served all day Sunday. The dinner menu is where you can get the unusual items. We shared Griddle Lamb with Lotus pods, Cuddlefish and Pork, and Braised green vegetables and mushrooms. All had distinct flavors, blended well together and were oh so delicious. We went early at... It's very popular with local Chinese in Raleigh/Cary, which is a good sign. And the food doesn't disappoint, with tasty, authentic Taiwanese food. It's a bit greasy but well prepared.

This has to be some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The potstickers were small and undercooked. The Mongolian beef was not any better. The texture of the beef was creepy and it was covered in chilis, so it was also way too spicy. The only decent thing about my meal was the fried rice. This was... More

This is my go to Chinese restaurant in the area. Always plenty of Asian dinners is further proof that they know what they are doing. Very reasonable pricing and delicious food.

We loved all the dishes that we ordered but the Mangaolian chicken was the best. The kids also had a nice mild version of fried rice which they enjoyed. Wish they had more dessert option tho.

You can tell how authentic this place is because it's always loaded with Chinese families having a good time. And we always feel welcomed here. Today my wife and I shared a delicious eggplant and tofu dish as well as a lotus root "salad." I loved the crunchiness of the lotus root as well as the light sauce it came... More
