Oui!! And their Asparagus Leek Soup is to die for! Charming atmosphere, tasty delights... But if you arrive around 6-7pm, plan on waiting in line. Worth it!

Only found this place for breakfast on our last day. Was in town for a conference and was having panerra every morning, what a waste. Great made to order breakfast sandwiches in a comfortable mellow environment made our morning grand. Next time I will be indulging in pastries.

We went to Amelie's French bakery for a different kind of pastry. I ordered the Chocolate Croissant, and my friends ordered the cinnamon baked apple turnover. We shared the bread pudding, (It was AWESOME). The decoration in the bakery was different , the chairs did not match. I enjoyed eating and hanging out at Amelie's French bakery.

I would like to say that I send alot of my guest to this bakery in the uptown Charlotte. I am so proud that I tried for the first time yesterday. The line was long, but they move really quickly. I order the sausage, cheddar cheese, and spinach croissant. That thing right there was sooo good I could slap someone.... More

I've been a fan of Amelie's for 10 years - since they made me a gluten free wedding cake. I have Celiac Disease and can always find something delicious and safe. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is helpful. I go back when family is in town and the selection and taste always blow their minds.

I'm a local Charlottean so I've visited Amelie's several times. It's always been ehhhh for me. In my opinion, the desserts always look better than they taste but if you're looking a nice hang out spot to have coffee while sharing your sweet tooth this is it. It is a very popular study spot to go in the city.

Wonderful place to have coffee, something to snack on, read a book upstairs, or chat with some friends on the coach. Basically, a French version of the tv show "Friends" set in a two door coffee shop! Just with the famous people!

Amelie's is a local favorite with 2 locations. It provides friendly service in a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared to wait in line due to the popularity. However, it is well worth the wait. The eclairs are scrumpdilicious, as well as all of the other treats. i can literally put myself into a food coma with the bakery items. there are... More
