Visited early on a Sunday morning. The ambiance was very light and airy with a clean crisp look. The menu had plenty to select from and the service was superb. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and it was devine as were the Deviled Eggs and the Petite Muffins served as starters. The cream for the coffee cake in a... More

I was not impressed by Asbury. The first time I went to this restaurant for dinner, about 3 weeks back, the service was terrible and the noise level was absurd so we left after 10 minutes, before we even got our drinks. They then called and offered me a gift card to come back and I accepted. Today I used... More

Went for Sunday brunch as it was outstanding. We ordered skillet biscuits with bacon jam, Crab cake benedict and amazing omelets. The benedict was the best I have ever had. The crabcake was awesome and the eggs were topped with a basil hollandaise sauce. The grits were fresh and very rich and flavorful. Service was outstanding as well.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here tonight and were impressed with the quality of the food and the caring professional service. We weren't very hungry so we split the scallops small plate, the warm kale salad and the special Tilefish entree. The scallops were the star of the meal - but everything was great. We will definitely... More

My wife and I went to the Asbury and had a great small plate lunch. The kale salad with smoked trout was excellent. and the mac and cheese was very good. We got a bad news telephone call during the meal, and the sympathetic waitress comped our dessert on the house ! The location is conveniently close by the municipal... More

Everything from the food to the beer/wine selection was delicious, well curated and memorable. I had the brisket with watercress pesto, and it has essentially ruined brisket for me anywhere else. So tender and flavourful. All the sides were terrific from the greens to the risotto. Small but excellent craft beer selection as well. Hoping to get back to Charlotte... More

gorgeous small plates, attention like you have NEVER had by a serving staff so knowledgeable, it almost sets a new standard. I live between NYC and PHL and this place could give some well known restaurants up here a scare.

Decided to check out brunch at this local place uptown with my brother. They were lacking staff, and it took 10 minutes just to get a order. After that, we ordered two biscuits and we're charged $3 each. WAY TOO MUCH FOR A CRUSTY BISCUIT. Finally, our meals were both cooked and prepared with very little taste. If you want... More

I must start by saying I overall love the Dunhill lobby lounge and their Asbury restaurant: especially Patrick and Donny who are still there after years of me going there for food and beverage! I ate a WONDERFUL dinner there last nite at Asbury's. the cabbage rolls stuffed with spaghetti squash and mushroom and with sweet potatoe puree and figs... More

Six of us gathered at The Asbury on a recent Sunday late morning for brunch. The Chicken and Waffles were very tasty and I kept hearing rave reviews about the 'skillet' of biscuits some ordered. The poached eggs and crab cake dish also received high marks as did the plain waffles and fruit cup. A very nice, relaxing Sunday morning... More

Description
With its warm service and artistic food presentation, The Asbury puts a sophisticated spin on the local food movement and traditional Southern dishes. The Asbury is a tribute to Charlotte's southern roots and the culturally diverse community of the New South. There is a strong tie to heirloom ingredients native to the area and specialty items grown by small, family farms throughout the local region. Located on the corner of N. Tryon & 6th Streets at the heart of Charlotte's cultural district, it's only fitting that the restaurant features local art curated in collaboration with Sozo Galler. Open seven days a week and serving the longest weekend brunch in Charlotte. Complimentary two-hour parking available in the Fifth Third Bank parking garage accessible from 6th and Church Streets. (Effective January 1, 2017, guests will be able to pay $5 for two (2) hour parking with validation, and will be charged prevailing garage rates after the initial two hours.)
