We have frequented 131 Main MANY times. The food is always great as well as the service. The plank salmon with wild rice is exceptional, but certainly not the only great choice. This is a great place to go on a date, a night without the kids, or with friends. In the cooler weather it is fun to enjoy some... More
I love the ambiance of the restaurant, from the outdoor seating with a fire pit to the view of the kitchen from your seat. They have lots of staff, and there are a few great options on the menu. I feel like the choices and flavors are a bit too common, but I love that they use local produce when... More
It doesn't matter what you order here, the food is guaranteed to be delicious. I can say this having tried roughly a dozen items on the menu and having yet to be disappointed. Totally enjoyed this restaurant. It was a fun place for an intimate couples dinner. Excellent drinks at the bar.
A group of is went to 131 Main for lunch today. Food was cooked to order plentiful and delicious. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable on how the food was prepared.
wait staff is excellant and very attentive. Crab cakes (they weren't lump crab ) but the sauce and quality were excellant. We also had fish tacos with a sirachi cream sauce that was excellant. We also had a very good Gaspacho but were disappointed in the grilled artichokes (under cooked and burnt not grilled)
We ate there on April 27th. I had shrimp and grits which was okay but I've had much better in Charleston. My friend had the crab cakes and they were swimming in a mustard sauce. The wait staff needs to ask before removing plates as my friend's plate was removed before he was finished eating. I think the food is... More
We visited 131 tonight and were well cared for by manager Billy, and our server Caroline. Great food, great service, excellent atmosphere. All that and the pork chops are back!
Thank you so much for the five stars. We look forward to serving you again soon. More
