Went to lunch while visiting friends in Cary NC. Fantastic Mexican food without all the melted cheese and salty meat from a typical Mexican restaurant. Food was fresh, service was excellent and we got our meals rather quickly during the lunch rush on a Friday. Also serve gluten free meals as well. Excellent - do not miss!

Dos Perros offers great outdoor dining, fabulous food, crazy good cocktails, all at a price that will bring you back again and again. Our waiter was engaging without being overly intrusive, offered suggestions when asked, and gave us time to really enjoy the evening. I have been there before and would love to see a menu rotation. That being said,... More

I live in Durham and just want to give a shout out to travelers coming to town letting them know that Dos Perros Restaurant is an excellent choice for sophisticated Mexican fusion when they visit. Their menu is not your typical Tex-Mex but rather a well conceived array of foods that are pleasing to many. This is a very popular... More

We are so excited that we found Dos Perros! This restaurant has true native Mexican cuisine with the vibe that makes us feel part of the family. The queso is like nothing we have ever had and the Chile Relleno was fantastic! And then there's the amazing margaritas and the truly outstanding bartender ... We are planning to be here... More

Been too long since we visited Dos Perros. Dinner was superb again. Started with a spicy margarita and then we both had the dinner special. Superbly done lamb chops for myself and the snapper for my wife. Really well done as usual. Highly recommend.

I thought the menu looked great, but the execution of some of the dishes was below standard. The oyster tacos were filled with oysters and tasted good. The steak, a special, was quite tough and my friend barely ate it. The carnitas were really soupy and did not please my husband at all. Service was good.

The food was more varied than the average Mexican restaurant and was very good. We enjoyed our dinner there and will be returning.
