This restaurant is just different than most Mexican restaurants, and I mean it in a good way. You need to go there to check it out for yourself. I highly recommend it!

Options galore and something for more adventurous eaters as well!! I chose the lengua, duck and lamb cheek tacos...really tasty. Great salsa bar as well. Place is always packed but they get people through the line pretty quick.

Liked it alot! Tuna tacos and Tomato jam, scrumptious combo. Kids loved the rice and beans. Large portions and selection of salsas. Go hungry.

If you enjoy authentic Mexican food this is a stretch. When you think of Mexican you think of flavor, good meat and great salsa/Pico de Gallo. The salsa was bad; the tomatoes were mushy and I had to add cilantro for any kind of flavor. If I could sum up the taste profile it would just be bland. I could've... More

Nan's Taco's is Durham's best Tex Mex. The Duck Nachos will have you coming back for more, and more, time and time again.

Located next door to the original Nana's. Counter service, primarily tacos, with some additional Mexican dishes. Beer, wine, and margaritas. Full but not overcrowded on a Sunday evening. We had guacamole, and a pair of pork belly tacos and a pair of pork butt tacos. Comes with a side of beans (black or pinto) and rice, and choice of corn... More

They have a great selection of proteins and the quality is always good. I have probably been 5 times, and never hesitate to go back.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. This time I loved it! It was either fresher than last time, or I just picked something better to order. I had one chicken and one pork taco and they were both great. I felt like the prices were very good value for the amount of food we received. If you order... More

On our Way home from Greensboro to Suffolk Virginia, & needed to stop for lunch. The hubster looked this place up on trip advisor, and wow! Definitely worth a few minutes detour to get this delicious fresh food. I had their Al Pastor torta with the black beans, and the hubster got fried fish tacos. Everything was incredibly delicious including... More

Stopped in for dinner during Comicon weekend. The place was packed! The food was excellent, with generous portions. There is also a nice selection of adult beverages. Would visit again!
