Good home style cooking with a menu that even a picky eater would be able to find something to satisfy themselves with.

This is a great place for honest food at affordable prices. Family and kid friendly and lots of southern hospitality.

They have their own parking and I like breakfast better than dinner. Just would not be first on my list. I really didn't like the restroom.

We stopped here for lunch. We waited about 10 minutes for a table during graduation weekend at high noon, I was so pleasantly surprised by the quick seating. I was so impressed that they could get us seated so fast. Waiter was excellent and very efficient. Our table ordered a fresh squeezed lemonade, very good, but a bit too sweet... More

Our daughter attends NCSSM and recently we went over for a visit. Elmo' s is a great little diner her friends and her can walk to. Good food for inexpensive prices, and friendly staff. Safe area for kids to walk to from school. It's a happening place so don't be surprised if you have a wait

35 years ago was my first experience with Elmo's and I recall the quaint, easygoing feeling of the place and the diverse menu emphasizing healthy choices. It was reasonably priced and a good experience. Now-35 years later- I sit down with a daughter and see the touched up retro look, feel the same laid back aura and find a menu... More

Went for late breakfast, place is very busy but they accommodated our party of 13. Service was good, food was average. Grits were just so-so, would expect better for being in the South. Prices are reasonable. Lots of college students here.

The food was decent and fairly priced. The service left a little to be desired but nothing to yell about.

I was disappointed in my most recent visit to Elmo's. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce - it was okay but not enough sauce. The dessert was really disappointing - they advertise it as 'mud' pie but it isn't a real mud pie - it's a fudge pie with a hot fudge topping and ice cream on the side.... More

This is a diner with breakfast all day - helpful when you are craving pancakes at noon. The service was good and the food is what you expect. It is slightly loud but we were there on a Saturday morning.
