This is a great place to get a quick sandwich made to order. Fresh bread made each day. Nothing fancy. Lots of hungry guys. I once heard a woman who was with a bunch of guys say "They need to make a smaller sandwich so women will come here"

I was recently told about this place and I was not disappointed. I had the best meatball sub that I have ever had in the triangle! Awesome bread, plenty of sauce and the people were terrific. The place is only open during the week till 3:00 so it is definitely a lunch only place. Give it a shot, you will... More

Eaten there twice this week - fast, friendly service, great food. Try the All American and the Deathwish - both excellent!

This is a mom and pop shop. The previous owner (a couple of years ago now) worked hard, produced delicious sandwiches, and retired. The new owners kept it going, updated the store and the food is still delicious. Without a doubt, the best roast beef in the area. They cook it themselves daily and it's just rare enough to be... This place is great for lunch. I have visited many times trying to figure out what it is about their sandwiches that I love but I think it is the bread. The folks that run this place are great to meet and their service is consistently quick.

A co-worker and I stopped here for lunch on his recommendation and it lived up to what he told me. The sandwiches are made quickly and are very large with a lot of meat on them. I had the Turkey Club on wheat bread and it was delicious. I also wanted to comment on the nice variety of kettle cooked... More

I honestly was skeptical about this place. Apparently the former owner was a bit of a handful according to reviews made on another site. I am originally from the New York area and over the years it has been difficult to find a decent roast beef sandwich in the NC area. I must say that the quality of the meat... More

While we miss the former owners the new owners are making the place their own with gradual changes. Food is still good. Recommended for a good sandwich.

I popped in for lunch with coworkers and immediately noticed the long line (which moves very quickly) which I felt was a good sign. I had the veggie wrap which was very good - huge, more than I could eat. I noticed that all of the sandwiches looked very large. There seemed to be many "regulars" having lunch as the... More

Over the time I've been coming--almost seven years--I've watched the line get longer and longer. In other words, I'm not the only one who thinks they are doing something right. Cheerz is a quintessential "mom and pop" place, and the genuinely kind mom and pop have developed a strong following for big servings of unpretentiously delicious food at a reasonable... More
