Even though we had a long wait due to not having enough wait staff. It was well worth the wait. Our waiter was nice and friendly.

We dropped by for our first time after they did the remodel. We had just come off a 6 hr drive to our beach house - too tired to cook. We were really pleased with the new look and feel. Fresh, inviting, well designed. Nice...More

We were coming to the beach for our first outing with our grandchildren, my first visit to the OBX in over 20 years. Of course, we got the address of the house and did a search for local attractions and presto! There was the Quarterdeck,...More

I apologize for the disappointment you experienced. I as well, would have enjoyed having your family in for a meal. We definitely did not anticipate to still be in the throws of renovation so deep into the season, but as is usually the case with...More

There were a few things that we tried to order that they did not have but we found other things to order instead. The food and service is good. Overall it is a nice quiet family place.

I've been coming out to Frisco for many years now, and the Quarterdeck feels like home. Went there last night in hopes of Spanish mackeral and did not leave disappointed. 'Tis the season for that fish of the day. Had it stuffed with crab, which...More

We ordered fried oyster baskets for lunch. The oysters were plump and flavorful. Coconut and key lime pies for dessert were excellent!

Food was good. However when we went to order we were told that there was no sweet tea, no baked potatoes and no ginger ale, all of which was on the menu. Waiter seemed very confused and unsure.

Description
Due to renovations from Hurricane Matthew we will be reopening Thursday June 22nd at 5pm with a new view!

A Family Style Seafood and Steak Restaurant that originated as The Old Lighthouse Restaurant in 1963, and moved to the current location as the Quarterdeck Restaurant in 1978, the Quarterdeck has been proudly serving the local island community for over 50 years. This locally owned, casual dining, family-oriented restaurant has been completely renovated after the effects of Hurricane Matthew by the family, and although it is the same great cuisine everyone is accustomed to, the whole building has a new fresh feel. Nostalgia meets new views. The building now boasts a beautiful sound side view, and the business now takes reservations; the Quarterdeck still specializes in seafood (try the crab cakes and stuffed flounder), char-grilled steaks, and homemade desserts. You may also enjoy a refreshment at their full-service bar, or have your lunch outside in the new outdoor seating areas. The Quarterdeck is open every day but Wednesday for dinner, 5:00-9:00 in season. For off season events or bookings please call.
