They have small jazz bands on Sunday nights if you love jazz. The food is always good and reasonably priced.

Living in the community, we eat here frequently. Food's always good, service outstanding, ambiance pretty good. Prices quite reasonable. Recommend for anyone, local or just passing through.

Had quick lunch with good local friend. Fish & Chips to come back for. Friendly servers and good beers (same owners as the local micro brewery and railway station Inn across the square).

Our fire and smoke burger was really good great flavor with perfect combo of hot and sweet - that said the cauliflower fritters were amazing! Served with sprinkle of cheese on top with chive butter- large portion just right for two- literally loved them! Cute town we found driving to South Carolina and looked up great places to eat. Lots... More

stopped in here for lunch and we both got pizza. Pretty good- not the best I have had but still pretty good.. Prices very reasonable. Would return if in the area. Very busy but waitress was very observant and kept drinks refilled and did a good job.

We were in town for a dance competition. I like to try local restaurants whenever I travel, and this one got good reviews on TripAdvisor. Apparently, I read the wrong reviews. First the service. It wasn't terribly busy while we were here, but it seemed like everything took FOREVER. Our waiter, Justin, was super nice. However, we received terrible service.... More

Wife had Black Mountain Light, for her it was great but for me a little to normal. I had at the servers suggestion an imperial stout for $1.50 more vs hickory stout. 10.6% alcohol vs 5.5. Well worth the money. I had the big bird, and it really is. The smashed potato side was a little bland. Fried mushrooms and... More

Stopped on our way to the Hickory beer fest across the street, hinted we were in a hurry (just meaning no need for courses, bring it all togetether, especially since we sat in the bar). The only thing to make that a course was a salad, which was exceptionally good. My burger had generous toppngs that seemed high quality. But... More
