Our family went to Mako's for Thanksgiving. The buffet was simply without comparison. The oysters on the half shell, oyster dressing, and every food item even remotely associated with a Thanksgiving meal was represented. The only item that was better than the food was our...More

On November 16th they must have had a special going on. I bought a ticked for 30 dollars for a lobster dinner that included sides, soup and dessert. It was fantastic! The service great, food good, it was my first time have Hatteras claim chowder!...More

Let me begin with, they don't have hushpuppies!!! These people know how to disappoint. Tourist trap. Could barely communicate with waiter. Key words like fish bones and bleu cheese were hurdles. Menu prices are 10-15% higher than shown here on this site. Seafood platter is...More

Went here with my husband and teenage daughter end of season. Overpriced and disappointing food. From the Margarita to the Salmon special which for over $25 was an insult. At least the Margarita was only $3.75. It’s a large restaurant trying to do too much...More

I’ve been here on two consecutive trips to KDH and plan on going back. The Mahi Mahi tacos are really good. Service has been great both times. Ibe been too full to try dessert!

Sat at the bar with a longtime friend who move down here a couple of years ago. Bar service was quick and the bartender was entertaining. Just had a couple of beers, but it was a pleasant 1 hour experience. I would certainly come back...More

We went here on a whim one night for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law's birthday. It was excellent and the staff handled our party of 11 like a pro. The food was to die for and sure made me wish we lived closer!

I was hoping that this restaurant would be better than most since it is located in the Outer Banks, but quite frankly I was a little disappointed. The food was better than average, but the prices were pretty cha-ching. The server was very young like...More
