There's not another place at the Outer Banks that makes the effort that this one does - and it pays off in big ways. Fresh flowers on every table, their own growing garden, several smaller dining areas so that you're not sitting right on top of someone else, listening to their conversation, and beautiful presentation of delicious food. They have... More

The food was scrumptious! Very quaint little place, with several small "dining areas". It was very busy, I would recommmend reservations. At must if you're in OBX!!

We have been coming to the OBX for seven years and finally decided to try the Colington Cafe. Now we are kicking ourselves for waiting. The location, the ambiance, the service and the food were all wonderful. We made a reservation and glad we did as the other dinners obviously new more about the the Colington than we did. I... More

Went for couples night out and were not disappointed. Service was wonderful. We were all in the mood for filets- prepared differently- all were cooked correctly with fabulous flavor. Veggies flavored with fennel we're good- and I don't normally care for fennel. Rolls were fresh and spuds had a nice flavor.

My husband and I visited the Collington Cafe for our Friday night date night and happened to hit it during OBX Restaurant Week so there was an excellent special running for $35 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. We were able to order six different things from the menu to try and the food was excellently prepared and presented. The... More

The food was great, service superb, and the ambience unequaled. Our "dining room" only contained two other tables! This is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.

We went during OBX restaurant week and were not disappointed. Dishes were plentiful and very tasty. Menu was not different but the price fixed items were just regular items at good prices married up with good appetizers and some deserts. We were treated attentively and not rushed. Will go back next time on OBX.

Wife and I both had the Filet Mignon and Crab Cake, absolutely amazing! From presentation to taste. Best Filet I've ever had, cooked perfect and the sauce on top was great. We will definitely be back again. Atmosphere was great.

Nestled off the beaten path in a Victorian house surrounded by 400 year-old oak trees, we are a local's favorite. Our seafood is brought in fresh daily, and we use locally grown ingredients. All the locals love our filet dishes as well as our large menu. All desserts are homemade. We are a family run restaurant with most of our staff having been with us for over 15 years. We do everything to make sure all of our customers leave happy.
