If you're going to use wind power this is certainly a likely place. The owners worked long and hard to place a windmill in this historic location of flight, but it was worth it. What a great idea! The four of us are great beer lovers and this place came recommended by friends. We all had samplers to try more... More

We stopped her for lunch on Sunday because it was right next to the Wrights Brothers Memorial and boy are we glad we did. We were seated immediately right next to the stage where two young girls were playing and singing. We really enjoyed the music and it wasn't too loud to interfere with our conversation. It's a brewery so... More

Sampled a diverse flight of beer and all were very tasty. The ahi tuna was superb. The cuban sandwich was very moist with a great combination of flavors.

It was a very interesting place. I was able to tour he brewery with the owner. It was very interesting. They advertise the tours but if you're there off season call before you go to be sure they are still doing them. The beer was very good. I got the chips and dip. The black bean dip was ok. The... My family and I went to OBX Brewing Station a few nights ago for the first time in over five years. We are a vegetarian family, so it can sometimes be difficult to find restaurants, especially in OBX, that have good options. We got the chips and black bean dip as an appetizer and it was delicious, and I got... More

My wife had the OBBS Root beer Float (adult cocktail), it was awesome to say the least, you could really pound them like a regular root beer float. The shrimp and grits was as good as any I had in the past. The Tuna Stack was very good and the Tuna was super fresh tasting. This is a definite go... More

We've been here many times in the last 15 years...always the week of New Years. It's usually very busy, which should tell you something. Great beer, great food. The basket of hush puppies was very tasty and a great value -- probably about 15 for $5. Definitely a must order!

I was happy to find this brew-pub while on a last minute overnight trip to Kill Devil Hills. Read reviews before hand and decided to try the hush puppies...BE WARNED...these are GREAT. A full dozen of super large pups. My wife and each had 2 each and took the rest home (they were actually still crunchy the day after at... More

I tried the local fish, which was pretty good (though I'm not keen on fish being prepared with the skin still on it). We ordered a flight of beer, which was a great way to try all the varieties they offer. The service was nothing special; maybe she was having an off day.

The waitress was exceptional - answered many questions and was very attentive. Our food was wonderful, the 3 of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The fried chicken sandwich had very little breading, making the juicy chicken the highlight. The side salad was a great mix of green spring mix, not your typical nasty iceburg lettuce.
