Not only is the service they provide you top of the Line, but the experience of feeling like every trip is eating at a family's home for a celebration is truly the icing on the cake. Not often do you visit a restaurant and get to see the cook, let alone the owner. In this case he is two in... More

Rose is the co-owner of this little downtown restaurant in Monroe. She's very friendly and patient with questions. Fried shrimp meal is good and hush puppies are delicious! Bargain meal, close to home for us. Parking lot is triangle shaped and at five corners but not a problem to park.

This restaurant is a sleeper. Doesn't look like much, but it is spotless inside and is run by friendly, Christian folks. The food is fresh and cooked after you order at counter. I had the fantail shrimp and was cooked perfectly. I was one of two people seated, but several picked up carry out orders. Good choice to eat here.

I stopped in for lunch on election day and was pleasantly satisfied. I had the perch plate with hushpuppies and mixed vegetables. I found the fish to be tasty and everything tasted good. I would have preferred a broiled option, but for a nice lunch for a reasonable price this was it. I was especially pleased with the enthusiasm of... More

Looks like an average restaurant from the outside but inside - the food is FANTASTIC! Some of the best food ever. Delicious AND cooked fresh in a very clean place. Service was great!

We had been told there was a wonderful seafood restaurant in downtown Monroe. We were a block away for early voting and decided to take the opportunity. I never saw the rating of the former service station, but I have my suspicions. My wife chose the whiting; I tried the frog legs (closer in size to tadpole legs). Trying to... More

I met two business associates at The Sea Hut for lunch today. We all three like Sea Food and one of my associates suggested we meet there for our informal meeting. The restaurant is very small but the food is delicious. There were not many people in the restaurant as we did not meet until 1 pm on the eve... More

I have visited this restaurant for a long time as much as twice a week. The food is normally very good. Anthony, the cook and owner has always been very nice, respectful and inviting. Anthony has a great attitude and understands what it takes to be successful with running a business such as a restaurant. However, I think the he... More

Loved everything about our experience at The Sea Hut! Our family gave Chef Anthony a standing ovation. The food was fresh and even though it was fried, it was not greasy! Reminds me of the old fashioned fish fry my father-in-law used to host after a trip to the NC coast. It was just that good! Can't wait to go... More

We actually had this restaurant cater for our rehearsal dinner. They were really nice and the seafood was fresh. They prepared it several different ways so whether you want fried fish or grilled shrimp, they have you covered.
