So, it seems like you should get a pie here. They have EVERY possible combination in single serve or whole pies. An entire case of pies. Somehow we ended up with cookies, turnovers, and danishes. You can tell "Miss Angel" uses real fruit - not filling. The crust is amazingly soft without tasting greasy. The desserts are sweet enough but... More

Go for the little pies! Not sure what the "moonshine" was suppose to do as I didn't taste anything different. But the other baked goods looked and smelled wonderful! Coffee was dreadful, ergo only four stars. Gotta have a good cup of joe with pie.

For Valentine's Day, my husband and I stopped in for the first time to get a special treat. Miss Angel waited on us. I couldn't make up my mind what whether I wanted the Pink Lemonade cake or the Coconut Cake. Miss Angel let me have half and half! Both were equally fantastic. My husband loved his red velvet cake,... More

Miss Angel's Heavenly Pies is the unchallenged champion of places that my wife and I go when we need to get our fill for our sweet tooth. Having tried desserts in a myriad of places across the nation, we can without a doubt say that Miss Angel's will always be a place we frequent when we are in Mount Airy... More

What a nice surprise! A bakery filled with yummy delicacies baked right there with fresh fruits and light pastries. Not to be missed. Ms. Angel was very friendly as well. We enjoyed our pastry and coffee very much. Also bought cranberry bread to go.

We went in close to closing time, but were not rushed. We got the royal treatment, which I believe is common at this establishment. Highly recommend the snickers brownie and Reese's brownie. Both were amazing!

Our whole day trip to Mt Airy, NC on 1/27/17 was due to a TV short done on this establishment. Our final stop was to pick up pastries, end our pleasant day and drive home. The day ended alright but not before we were reprimanded for not reading one of the 1500 signs in this store "...Ring the bell for... More

This is a small place but stays packed, some tables and lots and lots of takeout ordering, has a window to the ice cream place next door for pie a la mode, and there are quiches and other items and every kind of sweet pie in small sizes

This place is totally dreamy. We stopped for coffee and ended up having a Choc Brownie, which was superb and my hubby had a "small" Apple Pie. Big serving for a fantastic price. Really enjoyed my brownie tho I couldn't finish it. Go there if in Mount Airy, you won't be disappointed!!
