Lotta Burger is the best burger in town, always order it with a side of crispy tater tots. Play retro 50's music so definitely has the old time drive in feel.

I have to admit- I have never had anything here but the Lotta Burger - it's why I go. It's a " duplex" burger served on a hoagie type roll. I have mine with mustard chili, slaw and onions. It comes with fries. Best burger in the area . It's artery-clogging for sure, but what a way to go! They... More

Don't go to the Brightstar expecting to find gourmet burgers or cosmopolitan fare. It is what it is, a reboot of an old style drive-in. I don't know when it first opened, but I cruised the drive-in while in high school in the early 70's. It is no longer a drive-in but the food is similar to what it would have... More

Great small town atmosphere. Burgers and music are great. Must try cherry-lemon Sundrop! They have daily specials and a salad bar. Great sweet tea.

I have always been a fan of Brightstar - recognizing that it falls somewhat in the "dive" category; however over the last few visits it has really been starting to dip in the wrong direction. Saturday we went in for lunch around 1:30 - it was crowded as always. Had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came to the... More

Average menu. Took way too long to get our food. When the food finally arrived the burgers, fries and onion rigs were all cold. Had the food been hot the taste may have been improved. Frozen crinkle cut fries and frozen onion rings. I assumed a local joint in business a long time would have been better that the chains... More

My entire family loves this restaurant! I especially love the music played. You can listen to their station on the Internet. Food is awesome - I've never eaten anything there that was not excellent. If your lucky and get the winning gum ball you can win a scoop of ice cream! I would highly recommend this family restaurant!

This place once had car hop service but now the outdoor parking is still there but only indoor seating. I meet friends there every Monday for lunch. It's a great place just to hang out and talk and listen to the oldies on the in house radio station. Burger patties are made fresh and are irregular in shape so you... More
