Have sampled many a Indian restaurant in my time, and Bay Leaf is one of the better ones. Amazing vegetarian samosas, cheese garlic naan and dal makni. Seriously good!

Bay Leaf is one of the best places to eat in New Bern! We have sampled Indian cuisine from out of town restaurants while traveling and none compare to the quality or taste of Bay Leaf. The restaurant is tucked back in a cozy down...More

This restaurant just does not know how to manage the orders when they are busy. Waitress informed us that it will take at least 30-35 mins for our food to come as all other people came before us and they will be served before us...More

We've been to every restaurant in New Bern, but Bay Leaf is by far the best! Absolutely delicious food and prompt and friendly service. Try a lamb dish - the lamb roganjosh is the best I've ever had - so tasty and the lamb is...More

Food was fresh, small bar but the items on the bar are your main go to, tikki chicken, naan, rice pudding, etc. Very quaint and quiet. Went during the middle of the week for lunch. Quiet, fast and the food was good, authentic Indian food.
