All the years we have spent in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area we had never gone to the restaurant at the Pine Crest Inn until this past Friday night. What a treat it was and we will be back. Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere, lovely service and a very nice menu. I had the prime rib which is apparently a house... More

Visited Pine Crest Inn located in Pinehurst, NC (US Open golf famous, lots of historic places, and golf history) twice in last couple of months, first was a hotel package for Room, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Breakfast. Great value, great food, and good fun. Resturant and Bar are always good, staying the night was a good time in A Grand Old... More

My wife and I stayed at Pine Crest Inn. Absolutely a beautiful place to stay if you like stepping back in time. The Inn was built in the early 1900's. The rooms were very nice and spacious. A full breakfast was included in the room rates which were very reasonable. We were only a couple of blocks from the center... More

This is really a great old Resturant. It has an old busy bar that's terrific. The Veal was very good. Also, 2 people had pork chops. They said it was excellent. Our waiter had been there 14 years and was very knowledgeable. I would Definitely go back.

Rooms were older and dusty. Feather pillows. There was a party in the rooms below us- we could hear everything!

Nostalgia of so many dinners, drinks and laughs over golf over the past 25 years or so....feels like going home when you hang out on the porch outside, the sofa or chairs inside and the bar... the service is so friendly, you just have to go there.

The Sunday buffet and made to order omelets are always outstanding. Anything you don't see is provided if available. Foo and service are always good. Dinner is also outstanding. Menu is excellent.
