I have been here twice. Had nachos with my wife. They were huge and yummy. Then burger with a friend that was delicious. I would say this is the best pub in Pinehurst.

The service was good and for the most part the food was fine. The atmosphere inside could have been void of some flies - difficult to eat when you are chasing flies from your food. We would have given a higher rating but the condiments...More

What a fun bar/restaurant. Great atmosphere (although there were kids) heard a g rated rendition of Lou Reeds take a walk on the wild side. Great pour. Entertainment was great and we have missed quality bar music. Would definitely visit again.

This is a little pub in the heart of the Village of Pinehurst. The staff is friendly and the place is cozy just like an old Irish pub. It's a fun place to meet up with friends after work for an appetizer and cocktail. The...More

Sunday lunch, burger and cod sandwiches were good. Coleslaw was good, a bit different than standard. Don’t be in a hurry. Probably a bit on the high $$$ side.

Met for a pre-round lunch. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good selection of beer on tap, but we all had the Guinness. Burgers were very tasty. My vegetarian friend was able to find what he wanted on the menu.

The Drum & Quill Public House is located in Old Town Pinehurst, the home of American golf. Our building has served the public for nearly a century, once housing the pharmacy and soda fountain said to be manufactured by James Walker Tufts himself, the founder of Pinehurst. The storefront was later converted to a pub, which it remains today. We are an historic "Public House" just as early public houses often were identified by simple signs that featured creatures such as lions, dolphins, elephants, bulls or swans so knowing how to read a name was not necessary to identify a location. The Drum & Quill Public House honors that tradition with the "Drum" represents Bob "the Drummer" Drum, a golf writer best known for his regular TV spot on CBS, and for his lifelong documentation of Arnold Palmer's creating golf's professional "Grand Slam". The "Quill" represents the power of the writers written word . Remember our motto - "Its More Fun To Eat In A Pub."
