Two of us ordered the made-to-order omelette was okay but the potatoes were so dry I didn't even eat them. The other person ordered the frittata with salmon which was beautiful on... More

awesome service, awesome food, great atmosphere. I had the scallops in a mild sauce over black rice. It was very good. I was happy they had a place to eat since I was getting hungry and didn't want to leave the area to find food. Highly recommend!

This was not our first visit and certainly won't be our last. As member of the NCMA we love visiting Iris for dinner after the museum or before a movie. We saw the special exhibits at the museum, had dinner then went to a movie at the museum. A very fun day. As usual we loved the food. I got... More

Iris is one of the more beautiful places to enjoy a tasty and elegant lunch either before or after enjoying the extraordinary collections of the NC Museum of Art. The menus are inventive and yummy and the prices are reasonable for such high quality food. The aesthetics of cuisine are at a very high level here.

The menu selection was eclectic and fun. Not really suitable however for kids unless a big juicy expensive hamburger is OK.. We were there for lunch and lots of ladies groups, some couples and no families/children. With hardwood floors and high ceilings, the many female voices all happily chatting away did raise the noise level and you should be prepared,... More

We are repeat customers of Iris and have a wonderful meal with attentive, personal service every time, The cuisine is top notch, unique, tastes wonderful and the menu changes seasonally. The music played in the lounge in the backdrop is great and of course, the location makes the restaurant all the better. Not much beats looking at fine art after... More
