ORO is one of my favorite places to eat in Raleigh. The food is awesome, small plates, upscale Tapas and great drinks. Have the truffled mac and cheese, and the campfire for desert. Try and have a drink at the bar. The TV screens are embedded into the mirrors. The owners are awesome people and i highly recommend Oro when... More

Very impressed! High quality food creatively prepared. You are encouraged to share which was fun. Wide variety. We had grilled octopus, truffle mac & cheese, crab cakes, tilefish, an artesanal cheese plate, & a really nice llama malbec. Short walk to Meymandi concert hall. Kudos!

We met up with a large group of friends for restaurant week. The wait staff was amazing, very attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious. I can't comment on cost of food since it was a set price for restaurant week. We're glad we tried this restaurant, and will definitely be going back! The only reason I didn't give... More

A group of 4 went for Triangle Restaurant Week. They had the prix fixe menu and their normal menu available. We started with a few of their specialty cocktails - No Pagne, No Gain and a Moscow Mule - both were excellent. We had the Corn Chowder and the Roasted Cauliflower Gratin for apps - both were great - I... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at ORO. It was a great opportunity for our teenage son to try some unique foods he had never had without the need to order an entire entree. We must say that we felt put off by a couple staff members that were a little snobbish. Maybe we didn't behave or dress like the... More

Was here for a work meeting with colleagues, and everyone loved it. The sesame cauliflower was outstanding, as was the truffle mac and cheese. And the mirrors over the bar turn into TVs to watch the game!

My first few trips here were less than ideal. But, to their credit, they have adjusted and this last visit was very good. Grilled octopus was fantastic. Also liked the asparagus and avocado salad. About $50 per person for dinner, booze and tip included.

We first ate here last year and I raved about it. Should have come back sooner. The food is fabulous and the service is friendly first rate. The 5 tapas style portions were all wonderful and perfect for a pre-show meal.

My girlfriend of several years and I eat at this restaurant for our anniversary every year, and sometimes on just-because-special-occasions. The food, staff, and cocktails are all out of the park. Having been in the military and traveled to many cities / countries I rate this my number one restaurant for fine dining (I prefer this over a more expensive... More
