We recently rediscovered Dalat after being regulars some years back. A change of jobs and locations......It has been wonderful to learn that the oriental/Vietnamese food is as always, well prepared and plentiful. The crispy egg noodle delight is a particular favorite, with fish sauce. While the exterior or the building looks a bit rundown in a small college shopping center,... More

We went to Dalat for an early dinner. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We shared the shrimp Dalat egg rolls - very good! I had the chicken noodle vermicelli soup - great! My husband had the chicken lemongrass vermicelli. Our dishes were served with fresh herbs and sauces on the side. We both really enjoyed... More

I have been a regular customer for lunch and always enjoyed everything I had previously ordered. Today I specifically chose Dalet because I knew that I could eat a low carb meal. I ordered the ginger salad and was quite pleased with my dish. When I was leaving to pay my bill the owner told me that she can make... More

I have been going here for most of my life. When I was younger, I didn't like it because it was not chicken nuggets. Then I grew up and realized how wonderful it was. I used to order off of their Chinese menu ( I still wasn't that adventurous at the time when it came to food) and get the... More

I used to eat at Dalat in the early 2000s and I always remembered their summer rolls - the rice paper wrapped rolls which are served cold. I ate at Dalat today after many years and the summer rolls are still the best that I've had. The peanut dipping sauce is just right too - not too peanuty Because it... More

I probably get takeout from Dalat at least once a month and I'm always happy I did. The owner is very nice and the food is reliably yummy. I almost always order the Soft Stir Fried Rice Noodles Delight with Grilled Tofu because it's so good, it's hard for me to order anything else, even though I've had some other... More

I've eaten here before, a long time ago. I was in the area so decided to jump in for a quick Pho lunch and was not disappointed. Excellent quality stock, great quality/amount of meat and fresh tasty basil/bean sprouts. A solid 9/10 on the Pho Junkie scale .... go get your fix if you're in the area !

Had a spare evening and I wanted to avoid standard American restaurant food so I searched out Dalat. I eat a lot of Vietnamese food by choice especially when I travel. It was OK, it wasn't particularly authentic having been adjusted for local tastes. Portions were quite large but again, in keeping with local custom. The bonus was that they... More

Dalat is a restaurant that serves Vietnamese and Thai dishes with some Chinese dishes that is close to NC State University. It has long been a favorite in that area of Raleigh. There are some very interesting dishes on the menu and portions are hefty, so you may want to share or plan on taking some home. There are many... More

I don't go there for the atmosphere, it is all about the food. Dalat Rice Vermicelli [Bún Thịt Nướng/Chả Giò] with Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls is amazing! I would love to try other items on the menu, but I love the Vermicelli so much, I order it every visit. If I lived or worked near there, I would visit... More
