Special occasion restaurant. Interesting decor and warm environment . Food is very good and also expensive. Great option for special birthday, anniversary or celebration.

Went to The Barn with family to celebrate the holidays. Everyone was very impressed with our impeccable service and good. Someone even commented that they never knew they could get this level of meal in Raleigh. Love it and will definitely return!

The Angus Barn has annual revenues of about $17,000,000 per year. That is both good and bad. The good is that people obviously like it. They vote with their pocketbooks. The bad is that it is very difficult to have a truly exquisite restaurant at that level of volume. It is not surprising that there are persistent reports of over-cooked... More

Dinner was fantastic. Filet was excellent. Atmosphere was very great. Christmas decorations and Gingerbread cookies. The wait was over 2 hours at 5 pm. Call for reservations. We were lucky and there was room in the bar area.

The service was impeccable! Everyone from the cashier in the gift shop to the managers walking around was so nice and friendly. I'm not a big steak lover but my chopped beef steak was delicious and huge. Going during holiday season is the best time cause it's beautiful decorated.

You actually DO need a reservation to go to the Angus Barn for Thanksgiving lunch. Van was kind enough to let us have a glass of wine in her office while they scrambled to find seating. While we waited, we got to see pictures of the hundreds of turkeys roasting on the grill and the vat (bathtub size) of collards... More

The Angus Barn is legendary in the city of Raleigh. I've been in Raleigh for 12 years and decided to try out the famous restaurant. First off - the ambience of place is just off the charts - especially at Christmas time - where they decorate like no other. It is fun - and very much has a locals only... More

In addition to other visits, each year the fam goes Friday after Thanksgiving. As I said before, the food is consistently amazingly awesome! I introduced mom in law to chocolate chess pie this year, devious! It's amazing. What I didn't realize until this year is how much the staff changes up the Christmas decorations year to year. Now, not only... More

This is a very popular restaraunt obviously and was very crowded. 3 hour wait for a table but we were able to find a seat at the bar pretty quick and ate our dinner there. Staff was nice and the buffet was fantastic although could have been hotter. Pretty pricy too $130 for 2 with one glass of wine but... More
