This place is so good that we always make a detour through Raleigh on our way North, and this time during pierogi week were not disappointed; the variety of the homemade piertogis and sausage was great and the taste superb. The draft beers are nice...More

Traditional German food with a modern flair. All made in house (except the kraut), sausage, brats, pierogie's... Small menu, perfectly prepared, seasonal flair. Don't be in a hurry, it doesn't do the food justice.

Hands down the best pierogies I've ever had - my boyfriend immigrated from Poland and gives his seal of approval too. Paired with a few sausages, fresh salad and butter rolls, this is what I call a perfect lunch.

Our normal nice going out restaurant is Sullivan's downtown. However we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Steak was excellent. Staff is very friendly.

Wonderful find just outside the heart of the city in Raleigh. JB's exceeded the expectations of my wife (a Chicago raised Polish girl)... and I really enjoyed the food and the authentic beers. Great meal and a good value!

You can't go wrong with anything you order. You must try the beer, German imports, the best!!!! The Beet Salad is wonderful, the porgies are made on site and delicious. The desserts are all made on site and excellent. The service is great as well.

So this place had fell off my radar until the last couple of weeks. My second visit in that time for lunch and I like it. Nice outdoor area, great this time of year, and friendly folks... seems family run but I didn't ask. The...More

Read TAs reviews and menu before going. Appetizers of specialty salad and pierogi (cheese and potato) were perfect portion and delicious. Dinner of vegetables with pierogi and crepes tasted beyond expectation. Very flavorful with healthy vegetables. Excellent wine list. Dessert of creme brûlée was a...More
