We ate here after hiking at Forillon. What a great place! I had seafood soup, and my husband had codfish cakes, both excellent and authentic. We would have returned here for another meal if we had had the time.

Started with a Rose wine from the region, followed by the "Brandade de morue" (cod appetizer), then a seafood gratin and ended with a bread pudding. The food was well seasoned, very flavorful & not too salty. It's a small restaurant, but cozy. It has a lot of history artifacts & information about the fisherman back in the 1940's

We walked the beach the night before and the smells coming form the restaurant were wonderful. We said we have to go there. So the next night we went for dinner. That day had been rainy and windy, so COLD outside. As you entered the room the warmth and smells were very comforting.. My husband had the escargot appetizer and... More

Great local food at inexpensive prices, located inside a cultural center and right on the water. In the north sector of Forillon NP. The staff were friendly, spoke English and were attentive but not intrusive. The lobster panini was fantastic and the salad dressing on the accompanied salad was probably the best I've ever had! Lots of non seafood/fish options... More

Wonderful café on the shore, friendly service, and a cultural centre that is run by and for the community. Do stop.

This is a very ambitious project to use a degraded historic building, make it a modern and welcoming eatery and concert and exhibit venue, with ambitious food and great service. Well, all is there in this place, plus the location by the water. It is worth driving a bit to enjoy this place, good combination of historic flair and modern... More

Stopped for 2 meals on our stay, both were very good. Staff patient with our limited French, good menu choices, great service, hot coffee and cold beer!

We're visiting Quebec from Saint Louis, MO and our French ranges from non-existent to barely passable, so we were a little intimidated by the prospect of ordering food at a small-town restaurant. However, our waitress was friendly, patient, understanding, and made a serious effort to speak English for us. She helped us order, answered our laundry list of questions, and... More
