A superb baker- butcher- Deli- vegetable and fruit shop- coffee shop- tea shop- and a reasonable bistro completes picture here. If you want better produce you find it here. More expensive of course but worth it.

Great butcher with the finest steak and quality sausages - best coffee on the coast at Merlo - yummy corn bread and creme brûlée at the bakery - tasty treats in the deli... you pay more but it lasts longer and is exceptional quality. Shop here at least 3 times a week for bread, fruit, coffee at Merlo, quality is the best on the Gold Coast. It is not cheap but worthy of the price paid, Reef seafood also excellent especially their cooked fish and sushi

The Brickworks Centre has literally changed our lives as we now live about 150m from some of Australia's best fish, vegetables, baked goods and coffee. The butcher is innovative and well priced, the green grocer has top level vegetables and the three cafes and 5 restaurants mean that we can dine out and walk home. Add in the large chemist... More

Love this place, but it's generally expensive. However you do indeed get what you pay for! Great florist, great coffee shops, great deli! Can't really fault this place (don't go here if you're on a budget though)

For this shopping addict, the Brickworks is a great place to visit. Awesome fresh sushi at the food store, merlo coffee and an array of great stores to browse. You'll find me in Wheel and Barrow if I suddenly disappear 😊 The complex houses a number of large furniture and household stores and great for a short or long visit.... More
