You have read the reviews, yes it is that good. If you are in town don't miss the opportunity to experience authentic Italian.

Our second visit did not disappoint. Best pizza and left room for dessert, a fantastic cheesecake. Chose a lovely local riesling from the Clare Valley. As before garlic bread and bottled water complimentary.

This is our second visit to the restaurant . Our meal was very nice . We had a anti pasti entree, which was very tasty, followed by a huge pizza shared by 4 of us . A lovely glass of wine was enjoyed by all. There was no room for dessert . All in all we spent a lovely evening... More

Our family enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. The setting was great with old time records playing on a turntable. The service was very attentive & friendly. The food was delicious & served quickly. We worked our way through antipasto, pizza, pasta, amazing mussels & on to dessert & coffee. All round, a very enjoyable experience. We will be going again!

Last night we enjoyed another amazing dinner experience here. We shared a pancetta pizza, along with a creamy pork sausage pasta ... Mmmmm delicious. The service and atmosphere is faultless - we love it here! We followed with a lovely lemon gelato and shot of lemon cello. This was our second time here as were from Melb and will be... More

What a little gem. The owner/chef is from Tuscanny and the food is fresh and simple with pastas and pizzas a speciality - try the calzone. Pasta is home made and the sauces are delicious. Loved the 50/60s theme but would have liked the music a bit louder

I was part of a conference gathering of some 30 people. Set menu of antipasto, pizza and gelato. Italian and South Australian wines all good. Could talk with the people around and opposite me without shouting-a rare joy in an Australian restaurant. The 'world famous' pizzas were tasty but the pastry bases were soggy. Maybe they had to produce too... More

I love this place and come here every time I'm in Burra. Very simple menu: Italian pizzas (on a thin base, real tomato sauce, and real mozarella and prosciutto topping), a couple of daily pasta specials (always home made), and a variety of antipasti (selection of cold meats, cheese and pickled vegetables). Nothing fancy, just plain and simple and very... More

We love this cafe! Fresh pasta, sensational traditional italian pizzas and a relaxed country atmosphere. See you next time! Tip- always book and get in early as they sometimes sellout of pasta on busy nights.
