I had lunch with a close friend at the Lord Lyndoch and found their food to be absolutely delicious. Their selections of wines was also great and gives a large choice to diners. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and very enjoyable. The restaurants closeness to some of the best wineries in the region is a bonus and made fro a... More

This was outstanding. They were busy and only had 2 wait staff but did a great job under the pressure of a busy restaurant. Kids loved the colouring in and the kids food menu was simple enough, with fresh chicken for the tenderloins. Scope of ice cream ends the kids meal nicely. The adults had steaks, and they were first... More

So glad we choose here to have a 'grown up' meal on our own. Service was friendly and prompt. My partner enjoyed his black angas steak and i couldn't fault the pressed lamb shoulder. Delicious! Highly recommend.

I cannot believe I paid $28 for the meal pictured (it came with chips). I was too stunned at the time to say anything. The grilled 'King George Whiting' was flavourless, limp and kind of wet? Very weird. And the supermarket salad mix salad was drenched with processed dressing which rendered it sweet and sickly. The decor is amazingly daggy,... More

The staff at The Lord Lyndoch were very friendly and the food was great although a little pricey. Nice place to eat.

Steak with a Blue cheese sauce was more of a pie floater with blue cheese. Steak was requested rare, however the fat was not rendered properly and therefore very chewy. I was removing it from my mouth during the meal, rather disappointing.

Any restaurant with a sign on the door saying 'winner of the second best barista in 2006' is a dead give away that the restaurant is living in the past. The food is barely passable, prices are high and the decor is dated and bric-a-brac trashy. What is with those frilly screens between tables? Surely the Barossa can do better.

Great service, meal with a toddler. So they ensured she had her meal first. Even allowing it (sausages) to cool a little so they wouldn't be too hot for her to eat. Meals delicious, nothing too much trouble.

Dropped in for lunch, friendly staff and very good service. Meals were a good size and the quality of the food did not disappoint. Meals ordered were steak, cooked to perfection and whiting which was a little pricey but thoroughly enjoyed. Can also recommend the coffee and desserts. Would definitely recommend and return.
