Called in at the halfway point of our ride for a serve of scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes along with a strong large coffee. Quick service, and everything tasted fresh, and warm. And sitting outside in the morning sun was glorious amongst the roses. We'll be back again

We have been eating our way through all the "fine dining" venues of the Barossa Valley, and there are so many, all excellent - but we can't afford to dine that way all the time, so we thought we would try something a little more casual and less expensive, hence we tried the Monkey Nut Cafe. Yes, it's a cafe,... More

We had lunch with another couple & the four of us were very impressed with the quality of food, great wine & very friendly staff. The steak sandwich was the best I've ever had - thick, juicy & tender piece of steak. Loved the atmosphere of the entire cafe & winery. Would definitely recommend.

Dropped in on the way back from the Barossa for afternoon tea, had coffees and the salted caramel cheesecake looked delicious so ordered a piece. The piece served was giant and the price was fair. And it tasted great as well. Sat outside and watched the shadows slowly form in a small but tidy garden

We had a day in the Barossa looking for a venue for our Grandma up coming birthday. We had there lunch there and was very impressed with food. The kids meals were very tasty and the the adults had a platter which was the best mix of foods I have ever tasted.

We had lunch here as part of a whole day winery tour to celebrate a colleague's upcoming wedding. It was a Mock Wedding Bridal Shower. We had a great range to choose from with the special lunch menu. The food was delicious and hearty just what I needed for full day of wine tasting. The service was friendly and helpful.... More

Part of the Kies Family Winery where the people are just wonderful and food is very filling for a very reasonable price - full plate of bacon, scrambled eggs and toast for under $10.
