The Grille is no longer on Main Street in Shallotte but has moved--- where I don't know but I wish they would put it on the Main Street marquis. We LOVED their she crab soup!

My mom kept telling me about a little place with the best hamburgers and hotdogs around, when we ate there on vacation I couldn't agree more! Definitely will go back!

The restaurant has been in the movie "Tammy". It had good burgers and a variety of home cooking. Also served breakfast. It has closed and only the second location is operating at the beach.

Hi all - This restaurant went out of business several months ago. The food was good, however, I'd heard that the owner of the building wanted to sell it, plus the ajoining lots, so the restaurant mgr had to fold. You can stop listing this...More

So many southern restaurants serve shrimp and grits but the Grill set the bar very high. Some of the best I've ever had including the tony places in Charleston. The she crab soup is another excellent winner.

This has been one of our favorite local places, but as of 9/01/14, they are closing their doors and relocating to Sunset Beach NC, a few miles south of the current location. I don't know the new address, but will post it if/when I find...More

I went to eat here since I heard great things about The Grille's shrimp and grits. As I was walking into the restaurant, the sanitation rating was a B. I left without eating due to the rating.

It had been a few months since last visiting The Grill so we tried it again last Saturday. Unfortunately, our experience was not good. It started with noticing the place really dirty and unorganized. Plus it was raining outside and dripping on our table. After...More

Description
This is a wonderful little restaurant (in a gas station behind Naber Dodge!) of all places! The chef (Sal) left a larger restaurant to go out on his own and he is clearly going to do very well. He makes the best shrimp and grits we've ever had, she crab soup, shrimp bisque, chicken salad, pizza's, homemade potato chips, homemade tortilla chips, etc. Open for breakfast and lunch. He also runs a catering business. Style is kind of local and simple but with a gourmet touch! Wonderful.
