First time on the Outer Banks. We walked here for dinner after setting up in the campground. Looked like a nice establishment. My wife had the fried fish basket and I ordered the fried seafood basket. The best part of both were the fries which were excellent. Very crispy outside with a good flavor but not overcooked at all. The... More

Was exactly what we needed when we needed it. Wanted some good taste of seafood while we were out and about found it in Atlantic coast café. Loved that there was no high-pressure sales loved the view of the sunset the ease of the waitstaff friendly and welcoming. Delicious seafood platter and sunset couldn't get better than that. Even though... More

This was our second visit to the cafe. It's a quaint little business in Waves, very close to the KOA and Camp Hatteras campgrounds. The menu is full of deli/grill style fare with a focus on fresh seafood. We were disappointed that they were out of oysters for the Fired Oyster Po Boys we were longing for, but that is... More

Some of the recent reviews gave this place a high rating so we stopped for lunch on the Saturday before Easter. My husband and I ordered hamburgers and my son ordered a cheeseburger. They tasted like they had lots of filler in them and they weren't good at all. On the plus side, my son's cheeseburger had lots of cheese... More

In this area of the Outer Banks there are limited options for someone with celiac. This cafe had a very small selection, but the food was good. Had Fish Lettuce Tacos, and they were tasty. Note that as someone that has to eat gluten free, sometimes your standards can be lower. My rating is on that scale. My family enjoyed... More

I had the pleasure of ordering not only a great breakfast wrap here but one of the best tuna sandwiches that I have ever had. My smoothie was delicious and the waitstaff provide good customer service.

We ate here for lunch on Saturday afternoon of our vacation. They allowed us to have our two dogs out on the porch, which was very nice of them. You order inside at the counter and they bring your food out. The food was really really good- I had fresh grilled grouper 'bites' with actually good cole slaw (love the... More

We last ate breakfast here 2 years ago. It's been a while only because we haven't been back in town since then. Awesome food and friendly service make the a must stop.

On our trip, I decided to eat something I had never experienced before. I had the blackened maui maui BLT and it was the best sandwich I have ever put in my mouth. It is definitely a hidden gem. I would visit again just to eat here. There were 4 of us and we were all pleased!!!
