First And foremost let me say that customer service was great…….. but the FOOD WAS GARBAGE!!!!! You can not boil meat and put BBQ sauce on one side and call it BBQ, that’s a NO NO!!!!!! Secondly, baked beans have to be baked and seasoned...somewhat to be called baked beans, NOT BEANS STRAIGHT OUT OF A CAN WITH NO SEASONING!!!!! Pulled Pork should be smoked and not boiled in liquid smoke and vinegar!!!!! Finally the Brunswick stew was WATERED DOWN and taste more like tomatoes then anything else!!!! Now the hush puppies was the best thing we had. First time trying this trying this spot and last time trying this spot.More

Due to being short staffed, the restaurant is currently only doing drive-thru; however, if you call ahead, you can drive around to the front and they'll bring your order out to you. When I arrived the line was out to the street so there was...about a 25 minute wait for the food (Chicken BBQ plate (pulled chicken) + green beans + mac & cheese) which was really good. The people working the drive thru were very nice. I thought the chicken was good, BBQ (IMO) was okay. Sweet potato casserole was excellent; mac n cheese was alright; very disappointed in the french fries; slaw was good.

Smoky Mountain is working to adapt to the new restrictions due to COVID. We’ve been by several times since the crisis began. I feel like the place has missed a great opportunity to focus on customer service and food quality. Add one more staff member...to expedite orders? Trim the menu if can’t provide consistently good food. Don’t insult me with a side of sauce that has less than a tablespoon! The food is just ok and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Your business seems to be humming along but you could be doing so much better!!More

I guess I should know better than to order seafood in the mountains, the flounder and shrimp were terrible. The sides were fine. Im glad I dont have to go here again.

Excellent!! No virus is slowing these folks down! The young lady that waited on us curb side was quick & efficient. If you have never tried vinegar sauce instead of tomato bbq, try it!!! It goes so well with the cole slaw & meat. The...cost was very low compared to others in the area. We will be back.More

We at the best meal here, the service was great curb side due to Covid-19. The young lady who waited on us knew the menu and easily made recommendations. We ordered beef brisket sandwiches, slaw and fry's. The meal was quickly returned to us with...everything we needed to enjoy it in our car. It was warm and very tasty. My husband I tried this little place out while on our honeymoon. Curbside pick up due to COVID but the service was fast and friendly. Our food was VERY reasonably priced and delicious! We really enjoyed it!

So excited to discover this gem in the NC mountains! The BBQ was so tender and their vinegar sauce was complex and flavorful! My family of 4 enjoyed their chicken and all the sides too. The banana pudding is worth writing home to Mama... we...went back and ordered another!More

We actually go here for the chicken instead of the bbq. It’s really crispy and delicious. This visit the chicken was mostly beading, but that hasn’t been my usual experience. This was the first time that happened, so still giving 4 stars
