There were 7 in our party. We were greeted with a smile, sat right down and our apps and dinner came out fast, delicious and still hot! Next time we'll come earlier and ride the train ;)

This place has what I call Fun Food. The food is good and very tasty but it's not 4 star class type food. The servers are friendly and helpful. The building and grounds are entertaining for kids and the young at heart. I really like the Western atmosphere they have here.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and we were not at all disappointed. Taylor was our server, and she was very friendly, she paid attention to us and was near by when we needed her. While we are not fans of salad bars (prefer a premade salad) this one was clean and well maintained. There is a lot of... More

Long wait before getting seated at a very cold corner and the longest wait at the check off counter, Appetizer and entree came at the same time

Went here for lunch on Sunday. It ended up being packed. It is an out of the way place, but well worth finding. Food and atmosphere are great. Menu is not huge but has all of the basics.

Odd place for a decent restaurant -- seriously in the middle of no where. However, the food is way way, way above average. The appetizers were exceptional, especially the "Blastcaps" (battered, fried jalopeno slices). The steaks were tender, well-seasoned and well-cooked.BUT, they do not serve wine. At all. Iced tea, soda, beer and the silly Bud-arita mess. Until and unless... More

Mr. Ira Price built a western town, and bands came to play. Build it and they will come, you might say. A dance hall and restaurant was added, in the old west style, serving up steaks and ribs. Deadwood is now much more for families, not for the band-crowd. The compound has a putt-putt golf mountain, children's play area with... More

Friday night we ate at the Smokehouse Grill at Deadwood in Bear Grass; a small town near Williamston, NC.  It was definately a place where the locals go.  I would expect to find this place out west, not NC.  It was like an old west saloon/restaurant.  We shared fried green tomatoes, a marinated steak and baked potato.  I know that...
