Love The George! Even in cold weather you can sit outside under the heat lamps, drink a French kiss and have a delicious crab cake sandwich (3” thick crab cake!) while relaxing by the river. Dogs are also welcome - they even have water bowls...More

We went twice and brought our dog which is great. The sunset view for all places along the river are nice, so you will like that here. The food is good, but a bit pricey for what you get.

The food was good but the best part of the place was the view. It really does have one of the best spots in Wilmington. My house wine was good and the service was great. I would go back.

Love being able to dine outside on the river! A bit pricey, but all was totally worth it! I started with the Alligator Satay, which was delicious! Then had the Athena salad, which was huge. I could only eat a small portion of it. For...More

So you might expect one thing on the menu to not be available but 3 - not good. Soup was cold and was beyond blah. We had a table of 6 and the server didn't even notice that not one of us touched the soup...More

The venue is nice with river view, the menu was more standard fare. The food was good and the service was excellent. for the location and potential this could have been so much more. If you are looking for a decent place, fairly priced this...More

Nice lunch and service was decent. We were out on the patio overlooking the river and had great views. I kept getting bitten my bugs which I never like, as they seamed to be coming up from below the deck. They are also pet friendly...More

Let me preface this review with the fact that we were the ONLY table there from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Went to The George today for brunch because their website indicated they serve brunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We asked our server for the...More

Went for Sunday lunch with family and friends (6 people) had to wait 40 minutes to place our order and get fresh drinks. When the food arrived it was very bland indeed, not one of us enjoyed our food and our choices ranged from crab...More

We dined here on our last night in Wilmington and the food is good but pricey. You're partially paying for location and ambience (overlooking the river), which you really can't see at night (which is when we were there). And if you're sitting outside, there...More

Great question! Casual dress is permitted as boating guests are welcome during lunch and dinner service. Many guests dress up more in the evening but nothing special is required. We hope to see you soon!

Don't know. Sorry. But just the lunch menu is pretty varied so I don't think you would be disappointed
