Had brunch here with our daughter and a few friends from Wake Forest. We always try to have one meal here when in town, but this was our first brunch. Wow! So good, so much food...we ate it all. I had something called the "breakfast flatbread " that was so good I would love to get the recipe to recreate... More

We stumbled upon Mozelle's when our usual restaurant was booked for the night. What a wonderful surprise this was!! The waitress was very friendly and helpful with providing recommendations. Our food came our promptly and was delicious. My favorite was the crab dip. I will attach a photo of my dessert. Needless to say the chocolate creme brûlée was mind... More

Winston-Salem friends took us to this intimate spot for dinner. The waitstaff was very friendly as well as competent. Two of us chose the restaurant week three course option - kale and lettuce salad, a petite sliced sirloin and blueberry cobbler. The salad had a tasty house dressing. The steak was cooked as requested and came with a spicy chimichurra... More

The herb crusted lamb chops were fabulous! It is the best tasting herb/lamb combination I have ever had. The lamb was cooked perfectly. I don't know what they did to balance out the sweetness of the butternut squash, but it was wonderful.

Came for dinner with friends. The food and service was very good. My wife had the shrimp and grits, while I had the fried chicken breast on a bed of Mac and cheese. EXCELLENT! We will be back.

For years and years, I have always said 4th Street Filling Station (right across the street from Mozelle's) served the best shrimp and grits in Winston-Salem. However, after dining at Mozelle's for The Big Eat, I have changed my mind. We enjoyed a lovely evening at Mozelle's with great customer service and the best shrimp and grits in Winston-Salem at... First off....great food, enjoyed the tomato pie and a sample of the shrimp & grits. My issue is how the front of house hostess can ruin your business from the way she conducts first impression interaction. As stated in several other reviews of this restaurant, the hostess lacks people skills. This was on a Tuesday evening, at opening, place is... More

This was a gourmet walking food tour headed by Nikki Miller-Ka. She is a chef and writes a food blog. We covered 2-3 miles, but it all started with Mozelle's Tomato Pie. My oh my oh my. Mozelle's is in an old section of Winston Salem and besides the tomato pie, I sampled the Ahi Tuna Poke which was served... More

We had a party of three and were seated in the addition, which was much more quiet and conducive to conversation. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. After drinks, appetizers, main dishes, more drinks and dessert, we were asked to move from the table by the manager to make way for a large party (reservation?) that had come... More
