We are very fortunate to have locally owned places like this in Grand Forks! The food I have had here has always been served hot and has been completely satisfying. Even when the place is packed, the servers have been very efficient and courteous. The decor of the place is very basic. This place is here to greet, seat and... More

Have had breakfast there several times during our four week stay at our daughters home in the AF Base in Grand Forks. Service is amazing, no matter which gal you get. Senior menu is simple and complete. Just enough for of everything. Granddaughter loves the chocolate chip pancakes.

I told my kid do not get steak at a diner but did he listen? Nope! The steak was undercooked, fatty and essentially uneatable. The american fries (fried potatoes) were the blandest I have ever had. My sandwich was pretty good, though...

We stopped on our way to Bemidji for brunch. I had a garbage omelet and my husband had the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. The omelet was full of meat and vegetables. I could not finish it. It was so generous. The tomato soup was definitely homemade with chunks of tomato. The grilled cheese was perfect. Service was friendly... More

My wife and I love little diners like this! It was just what we hoped it would be, friendly and delicious! I had the Northside Skillet with Pancakes and my wife had the Veggie Omelette with hash browns and toast! Mmm mmm good!

After reading reviews was excited to try but was disappointed. Got a table fairly quickly but waited 45 minutes (server didn't come back once to refill coffee or top up drinks) we flagged her down to ask how much longer and she said there was a table ahead of us then ours would be made. Instead of waiting who knows... More

We chose this restaurant over the chain places and found the food to be home cooked and excellent. We will return again while in Grand Forks.

Took the Trip Advisor recommendations and stopped at this family cafe just off the interstate. Just what I was looking for - local home cooking. Had the giant caramel roll that I remember from bakeries growing up while my dad and boyfriend had scrambled egg combinations. Loved the hash browns!
