I like pasta al dente. I've hardly ever found place to eat it. They served me a perfect dish. I loved it. The dish was pretty big portion. Pizza was also good. Thin base. They have lots of different table (outside, inside, small and big) We definitely go back to eat there.

Every time our son comes to Vancouver Island he always takes us for dinner at Cuckoo's. Great for the whole family since they will cater to children's finicky needs and wants. I love the atmosphere that we are in a little village somewhere in Europe. I love their salads especially the spinach with the wonderful goat cheese. My grandson declares... More

Location was good, server was condescending regarding wine selection and the pasta - while very flavorful - was extremely dry - lacking in sauce !! Tried but won't return....

Finding a 'fully dressed' fly in my Caesar salad when the fork was en route to my mouth was rather off putting but not an unusual event. Not a fruit fly - a larger fly - fully soaked with dressing so had spent time in the salad. I lifted fly and surrounding lettuce to a side plate & when asked... More

Out of the hustle and bustle of the tourists crowding the public market where the goats on the roof reside, at the back of the market beside the Mexican Restaurant, is this lovely Italian Restaurant, with servers dressed in black, white table cloth linens, and hanging chandeliers in a busy, yet warm atmosphere. The food was good - we ordered... More

We needed a place for a late lunch on our way from Campbell River to Crofton. Trip Advisor had good reviews and it said they had gluten-free pizza so I was in. One of us had the gf and one had wheat, we really loved our pizzas. The crusts were quite thin so you could really taste the toppings. Overall... More

Food was good. Atmosphere was great. Service SUCKED!! Our waiter (the guy from S Africa) ignored us. We were abandoned from the time we sat down. The manager comped our coffees and apologized. Waiter then came by to roll his eyes that we weren't happy with the (non) service! SO RUDE!

Went here with a group of 9 friends. Service was excellent. Starters were good. I had a fisherman bowl with linguine (can't remember name of dish) it was very tasty linguine very fresh but the 3 of us who ordered this bowl.. found dish very dry..such a minimal amount of sauce...we had leftover sauce from the appetizer version of this... Popped in here on the way home, forgot it was Mothers Day and we hadn't reserved a table. Got a table for four within minutes which was a great surprise. The place was busy! But was so efficiently moving along with service, hot food, kind servers and cleanliness. The dishes we had, a seafood linguine, a gluten free crab pasta... More

We stopped here en route from Campbell River to Victoria. It was a surprise to find such a high- end restaurant in an eclectic area with produce markets, flower stands and assorted Asian shops. A beautifully renovated building, the setting, although noisy, was comfortable. White cloth tablecloths and napkins, nice. Server was thorough and helpful with our choices: crab cakes,... More
