Great place to take family and friends from out of town. Old world charm with friendly employees. Good selection of imported foods and ingredients. An interesting place to browse for an hour. Super busy in the Summer.

Super cute place, great souvenirs, fudge and macaroons are amazing!!! Didn't give five stars because the emporium restaurant was terrible, the staff constantly bickered and belittled each other throughout our entire meal, corn dog was still frozen inside, the poutine contained uncooked bacon and a piece of soggy chicken finger! Will definitely be back but will never eat here again!

Locals call it goats on the roof but I guess they weren't out when we traveled past. There were some neat toys there for kids to see and surprisingly it was a neat cultural experience. I swear Coombs feels almost like the 60's never ended. The colors, the buskers and old vehicles lying around.... That said the whole place was... More

When staying in Parksville at Tigh na Mara our favorite day trip is to Coombs. You'll love the goats on the roof, a fabulous market that does a great lunch and the best ice cream on Vancouver Island. It's a family must do when visiting this area.

In March the goats are pastured out back so didn't get to see them on the roof. Quality baked goods and tourist souvenirs. Huge variety of both. Had a pulled pork sandwich at the counter in the west end of the market. Excellent flavor but small and pricey. A must stop for the atmosphere.

This is a must see attraction in the area and this family of goats is a great draw. There can be lots of people so sometimes parking is an issue. The goats are quite photogenic and inquisitive.

We enjoy visiting the market often ... the goats are in the roof in the summer offering tourists a great photo opportunity. The Market offers an amazing variety of fresh, local produce, freshly baked bread and other goodies as well as a deli for meats and cheeses, groceries from various places worldwide as well as a section to buy a... My aunt and uncle introduced me to this fabulous emporium and what a selection! Ideal for brunch/lunch and also for buying supplies produce! Massive selection from a variety of countries/ethnicities as clean as the BC environment itself!
