Though they have a very friendly staff (which counts for a lot), in a town/vicinity of fairly inspired culimary destimations, this one does not really hit that high-mark. Not inexpensive either.
Cozy restaurant with good food. Our turkey was a little dry. Service was pretty good - overall a pretty good experience.
The meals were okay but not great. My wife ordered the crab and there was only low quality paper napkins and we all know how messy crab can be. The service was slow,a result of being short staffed. We arrived expecting something "Newfoundland exceptional"but were...More
Had a nice dinner of pan fried cod with fresh cod and not the frozen stuff. This is not fine dining but the atmosphere is nice and traditional, service from Donna was excellent as she was aware that we were going to the play and...More

Totally average experience. Not many options, so it's a fine one for a night in Trinity. Stick to the classics (I got crab legs) instead of anything special or too far flung.
