Showed up here without a sweet clue as to where I was. Blown away by atmosphere, service and food. Had the largest most delicious scallops! Returned the following night for dessert! Found my way home but eager to return.

My husband and I spent 4 nights and 5 days at this very special B and B. I'm a bit hesitant to say how good it is, 'cause everyone will go there and I might not get a reservation....((: Just kidding! We were there for opening weekend May 5th and could not have had a better experience there and in... More

The food is fantastic, the service impeccable and the location gorgeous. I stayed 2 nights - rooms don't have ensuites but the price adequately reflects this. The food is fresh, elegantly presented and delightful to taste.

This is not the fanciest, nor the most sophisticated, but it is by far the tastiest, the most authentic restauraunt in the Maritimes. I simply love coming here and rejoince every year when it reopens. Hats off to Sara and Andrew for pulling this off. You will not believe until you see and experience it.

We live in Joggins, an hour away from the Wild Caraway. It's embarassing how often we go there: dinner, lunch, and even have overnighted in their lovely B&B above the restaurant where the bay window faces the water and Wharf.. If you're lucky you will see the fishing boats coming and going. But the restaurant: super friendly and informed service;... More

We have been aware of Wild Caraway, located in out-of-the-way Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia for several years, and read and heard rave reviews from many sources, but only recently managed to get there for a meal. There were four in our party and we were there on the final weekend of Wild Caraway's 2016 season. The dining area uses two... More

Charming location, quality food, great prices. Thanks for another great meal, we drove from Ontario and it was the best meal we had on the east coast!

By far, the best chowder I have ever had in the world. It had large pieces of seafood (scallop, shrimp, fish), fresh cream/butter, and a bright array of herbs! Better than any New England clam chowder I have eaten in my 32 years on this earth and living/growing up in Massachusetts.

I have eaten here many times and always had an absolutely outstanding meal. What has prompted this review is that I have just returned from Halifax where we had 2 lunches and 2 dinners out at three of the top ranked restaurants in that city. None of those meals could compare to the lunch I had today at Wild Caraway.... More
