Just had the loveliest time with my sister Pat today, we went to Le Caveau in Grand Pre. It was perfect we are both foodies and this chef is rocking it. We had a few different things but the snitzel sandwich and halibut crab cakes where amazing. The next best thing was the wine store, do not miss either spot.... More

We came from Halifax to celebrate a birthday and we're looking for something a bit unusual rather than just a restaurant so thought a winery and restaurant was a good choice. We started the meal with wonderful wine and great appetizers including scallops and scallops. That was however were things started going south. We asked for a bread basket and... More

Le Caveau, the restaurant at Grand Pre Winery just a few minutes drive from Wolfville, is known for good food, genuinely friendly service and the selection of wines, as other reviewers have already praised. One thing that's unusual here is the very dry sense of humour of the food servers - the jokes about the pepper shaker brought smiles to... More

As part of Go North's Uncorked winery tour to Grand Pre winery, we had the opportunity to have lunch at Le Caveau restaurant. It was a beautifully warm day in Wolfville that day. We had a nice lunch with our tour mates and Lila, our guide on the outdoor terrace. Lunch was very good and filling. We had choices between... More

The sun was shining, the outdoors seats are shaded by vines etc. They have a super choice of wines and you can have small glass flights to try a few. The meat charcuterie platter was a good mix of varied meats, pate etc. The fish and snow crab cakes were divine, just enough potato to hold them together. We were... More

We live in the local area and have been here a number of times. We called ahead for Saturday night, and were surprised that it was so busy, we had to juggle our plans a bit. To start, my partner had the mushroom and onion soup, which looked very hearty. I had the charcuterie board, which initially seemed a bit... More

This restaurant is situated beautifully in the Grand Pre vineyard. Do not order the udon noodle bowl. The broth was tasteless, the shrimp were the tiny shrimp size and the soup was loaded with tofu (which I like). I was expecting 8-10 cubes, but there was just too much of it and little of anything else. My husband said his... More
