I have been several times before and found the quesadilla very good, however the one I ordered was undercooked, cold inside, tasted poorly, served with a little cup of sour cream that had been on someone else’s table and no salsa. It was poor and...unappetizing. The server showed little concern and her service was mediocre at best. Not going back, food is too expensive to waste money on third-rate cuisine.More

Our first time here for a family dinner. We arrived early, so the bar was quiet. The server was friendly and cheerful The menu is quite large, something for everyone it seemed. 2 ordered the ribeye steak with a baked potato and I ordered the...scallop and pepper penne pasta. The steaks were cooked to order and they were pleased with them. They both felt the baked potato was dry and overcooked. My pasta dish was very tasty, and served with a slice of garlic bread. We saw an order of fish and chips go by our table and we all thought it looked fantastic, as did a nearby hamburger. The pub shares the menu and space with Rosie's Restaurant, which is quieter than the pub and apparently serves breakfast from 8-11 weekdays. We will definitely be checking that out. We will probably return to either the pub or Rosie's for another meal. We were happy. The prices were reasonable and portion sizes were good tooMore

For lunch our table of three shared a plate of onion rings to start. Our mains were bangers and Mash, apple brie chicken ciabatta, and chicken sesame salad (stir fry). All food was delicious, well portioned, well plated. Service by Elizabeth was top rate, as...though she were the owner going out of her way to impress us. Highly recommended based on this experience.More

Our first impression when we entered the restaurant is that it was nothing special but that impression ended the moment we sat down. Our server Steven was, quite honestly, the best waiter we have ever had at a restaurant. He was friendly, kind and thoughtful....He masterfully accommodated all of the allergies and dietary issues in our group of 6, thoughtfully going above and beyond to make our meals not only safe, but also enjoyable. Right down to the little details, like realizing that the mints that come with the bill contained dairy so he brought 2 of us dairy free lollipops instead. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. My sister had the chicken quesadilla and said that it was the best she ever had, stuffed full of big chunks of chicken and so tasty. My sister in law had the lamb burger and was blown away by the incredible flavour. We are just visiting the area so won’t get a chance to come back but we would highly recommend it to others.More

We went to Rosie’s after we had to leave another restaurant because the service was so bad, we couldn’t even order. We decided on Rosie’s and we were not disappointed. Our waiter, Steven, was awesome right from the start and the food was delicious. We...all ordered something different in the group of six and each of us throughly enjoyed our meals. If I find myself in Kentville, I will be coming back to this restaurant. Thanks to Steven and the excellent cooks that made our meals.More

Went for late lunch and the service was great. I had the chicken & brie ciabatta and it was amazing!! Highly recommend that and someone else had the bacon wrapped scallops which she said were perfectly done. The third diner had a cheeseburger which was...so tasty and the fries were fresh and crisp. I appreciated that the server advised when one of us ordered a dish which isn't their best, so he switched choices and we were all satisfied. It was delish!More

This was a terrific spot to have supper and meet friends. Staff were extremely friendly and the food was outstanding. This is more than just a place to get pub food. At your table there were dishes of normal pub food but also stir fried...ginger beef, pasta and mexican dishes. They were all tasty enormous portions. Highly recommend.More

Due to Covid restrictions our 50th anniversary celebration kept us housebound. To make it a bit special we decided to order our dinner from Rosie's. What a mistake that was. Ordered panfried haddock and spareribs special. The smell of the fish when it arrived at...the house was gagging and upon eating two bites was thrown in the garbage. The ribs special was certainly not special. They were dried out and appeared to be leftover from the previous day. We do not recommend Rosie's. The quality of the food was terrible. Don't waste your money. This restaurant will not get any local support from us.More

We stopped in yesterday for lunch and i ordered the pan fried fish. The fish was definitely not fresh. I was disappointed to say the least on the fish quality. That being said, the food was hot and the waitresses was outstanding. My husband ordered...the steak which he said was good..but it was super thin. It was an experience lunch..so for the price we paid we expected more. Im not sure if we would go again.More

We visited Paddy’s on Sept 13, 2020 for supper. We had been to the Wolfville location in the past and really enjoyed so we thought we give Kentville a go. We ordered the 6oz New York Steak and the pan fried haddock and started with...an order of deep fried pepperoni. For drinks I had the Acadian Cream Ale and my husband had a Caesar. The Acadian Cream Ale was so good I bought some to take home. My husband very much enjoyed his Caesar. The pepperoni and pan fried haddock were good however my order came out as a New York steak sandwich. We had waited a bit as it was and I didn’t feel like waiting longer for my food. I also didn’t want to be eating after my husband was already done so I kept the sandwich and just ate the steak off it. It was ok. We spent nearly 73.00 there and didn’t really feel we had an experience that would make us want to go back to eat. For the Acadian Cream Ale, I would go back.More

Had absolutely perfect service from our waitress Amber! Friendly, professional, helpful and efficient which really enhanced our experience. Ate outdoors on their spacious patio and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and delicious meal. Split the mexican chicken enchilada with spinach salad and a side order of...rice pilaf. Very filling even when sharing it, so a super value. Love their blueberry beer.More
